Whether a curbless, zero-threshold shower is worth the extra framing to set the drain and slope the floor, which it often is if you plan to stay put and want the room to age with you. And whether to move plumbing or leave the fixtures where they sit. Relocating a drain or a toilet flange means opening floors and walls and adds real cost, so we spell out what that buys you before you commit rather than after the tile is on order.
