At JDI Construction, every remodel starts with a conversation around a kitchen table, not a contract. We're a family-owned remodeling company headquartered in downtown Vancouver, Washington, and since 2007 we've helped Pacific Northwest homeowners reimagine the spaces they spend their lives in.

Our Story

JDI Construction was founded in 2007 by Arthur Kulchitsky alongside a small crew of Pacific Northwest craftsmen who wanted to do remodeling differently. The idea was simple: treat every home like it's your own family's, give homeowners honest timelines instead of optimistic ones, and refuse to leave a site until the work is right. The referrals followed.

Eighteen years and more than 500 projects later, what began as a one-truck operation in Portland has grown into one of Southwest Washington's most trusted full-service remodelers. Our headquarters now sits at 1409 Broadway St in downtown Vancouver, with designers, carpenters, electricians, tile setters, and project managers working under one roof.

Our teams handle the full residential scope (design, demolition, framing, plumbing, electrical, finish carpentry, tile, paint, and final cleanup), so there are fewer hand-offs and one point of contact when you have a question.

The neighborhoods we work in are the ones our kids go to school in, where we buy our coffee, where our employees raise their families.
