A few decisions worth making early

The choices that swing the budget and the calendar are the ones best made before anyone swings a hammer. First is whether to open a wall between the kitchen and the dining or living space — in a lot of McMinnville's older homes that wall is carrying load, which means a beam and a different scope, so we confirm it early rather than mid-demolition.
