⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Amazing Experience!
When we purchased our home in La Center, the downstairs only had two rooms and one bathroom. Upstairs had three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, and a mudroom. We knew we wanted to transform the downstairs into a comfortable living space for my mother-in-law, and finding the right contractor was extremely important to us.
That’s when we hired Art and his team, and honestly, we could not have asked for a better person to work with.
From our very first meeting, Art was friendly, patient, an incredible listener, and truly understood what we wanted. He took the time to sit down with us, go through the entire remodeling process, discuss the timeline and pricing, and answer all of our questions. We had multiple meetings throughout the project, and his communication and follow-up were outstanding.
His team did an amazing job. Everything downstairs was completely transformed. They remodeled the existing bathroom, added another beautiful bathroom with a gorgeous shower, relocated and redesigned the space to create a master-style room, and even added a full kitchen downstairs.
What started as a downstairs area became essentially an ADU for my mother-in-law. ❤️ It has made our family life so much easier. Grandma can comfortably have her own space downstairs while our family lives upstairs, but we are still all under one roof.
What impressed us most was how involved Art was throughout the entire process. He went with us to select tile and countertops, helped us make decisions, made sure the pricing was fair, and personally followed up to make sure everything was done correctly. Even after the project was completed, he continued checking in with Grandma to make sure she was doing well. His team has continued to be just as caring.
That level of care is something you don’t always find.
Our home is beautiful, completely remodeled, and feels brand new. More importantly, we’re grateful to have found someone who cared about our family—not just the project.

JDI did a beautiful job remodeling our kitchen/living room. This was our first remodel so we didn’t know what to expect.

They initially estimated that it would take 8-12 weeks. I believe it was completely done in about 6. It was amazingly quick.

Generally, the workers were very friendly and worked hard. Every time our project manager told us someone was coming the next day and the time frame, they showed up. That is unheard of in this industry.

At the end of the remodel, I shared some constructive feedback with our project manager along with much praise. He was very receptive and appreciative.

I love my newly updated kitchen and bathroom. I put off these renovations for years out of fear of the process but working with JDI was a dream. Everyone on the team was incredibly helpful in answering questions and providing feedback. My project manager, Eric was excellent at providing consistent updates regarding next steps and the daily schedule. I would definitely hire JDI for future projects.

JDI renovated our guest bathroom after the last owners had done too many dyi projects there. Adding a new backsplash, tub, fixtures and a toilet plus new floors and fresh paint. Walking in there now it feels like a spa! The craftsmen were courteous, professional and always on time. Their attention to detail and commitment to a good final product is evident. The project coordinator kept us informed of everything and was flexible on times if we had a conflict. They even came and sent in a cleaning crew after they were finished. We look forward to our next opportunity to work with this amazing company again.

We had JDI remodel a hall bath. Everyone was great and easy to work with. Stephanie helped us with the design and picking out and orderinhy materials. Once we started Eugene was the Project Manager and communicated with us daily through out the project. Most often he would stop by at least once a day. Alex did most of the work including the tile. He is very skilled. At the end of each day the areas was cleaned up and construction trash removed. They worked very hard to keep the project on schedule. I would definitely use them again for a a remodel project.
